Bringing Polynesia to California......

Hosted by the Hawaiian Surf Club of San Onofre, this annual Polynesian Festival it is one of San Clemente's most beloved annual events as it captures the spirit of aloha for Hawaiians and non-Hawaiians, surfers and non-surfers alike. It features all things Polynesian and Hawaiian including arts and crafts vendors, a vintage Woody car show, "plate lunch" (a uniquely Hawaiian style cuisine), Polynesian and hula dance exhibitions throughout the day, and a traditional luau in the evening. The festival is free; Luau tickets are $25.00 adult, $10.00 child 12 and under. $27.00 at the door, with limited unreserved seating.

The Hawaiian Surf Club of San Onofre brought the islands to San Clemente for the 20th year in a row on Saturday, May 28th this year, with the annual Polynesian Festival and Luau Feast at the Community Center. Outside on the lawn, one could visit clothing, art and crafts booths, hear live music, watch Hawaiian, Tahitian, Maori and Samoan dances, view a woody car show and dine on a Hawaiian-style lunch. For dinner, an indoor paid-admission luau included entertainment. Proceeds help support the club's efforts to promote Hawaiian culture in Southern California.

With more than 50 vendors, including Polynesian arts and crafts, clothing, surf art, delicious food and, of course, shaved iced, the festival has something fun for children and adults of all ages. To complete the beach atmosphere, six vintage Woody cars will also be on display. Join us next year for the 21st Annual Hawaiian Surf Club Polynesian Festival - bringing AlooooHA to San Clemente!
